Structure Rising

Concrete floors and columns are up across the main building, with timber shuttering still in place as the upper level is poured — the frame of Ekant now visible against the pines.

What was foundation work a few months ago is now a real structure: two levels of columns and slab, the hillside terraced around it, and the upper floor's formwork going up next. The site's own timber is doing double duty here — the same craft that will later shape doors, beams and furniture is first holding the concrete in place while it cures.
